Hi and thank you for visiting my website. Enjoy your visit!
My name is Tim O’Brien, a photographer from Clondalkin, in Dublin, Republic of Ireland. I have been taking pictures since the early 1970’s with cameras borrowed from friends until my wife bought me a Praktica SLR while we were in London on our honeymoon in 1978, (she has a lot to answer for!). I then moved to Olympus OM10, and then to Nikon, switching to Digital gear about 2002.
In January 1988, Dublin’s Millennium Year, some like minded photographers got together and we formed Clondalkin Camera Club, which has since grown to be one of the foremost clubs in the Dublin area. You can visit the Club’s website by clicking on www.clondalkincameraclub.com The Club is affiliated to the Irish Photographic Federation, the umbrella body for Camera Clubs and Photographic Societies in Ireland.
My main photographic interests are Nature and Landscapes, both of which involve some travel, both in Ireland and overseas.
